A closer look
A therapy group brings people together around shared concerns, with a clinician guiding the conversation and skills practice. Hearing different perspectives can help you recognize familiar patterns and try a new response. A group may complement individual work when you want more opportunities to practice relating to others.
Fit matters as much as format.
Before joining a group, it helps to discuss your goals, comfort with sharing, and any support you already receive. Group work involves listening as well as speaking, and participation should respect each person’s pace.
My approach to care makes room for differences in language, cultural identity, and family expectations. When we discuss a group option, we can consider how its focus, language, and format would work for you.
Group therapy is coming soon. You are welcome to contact me to express interest and share the topics you would find helpful. Scheduling and fees will be shared when a group is ready to open. We will clarify the group’s participation and privacy agreements before you decide whether to join.
